SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
DISTRICT COUNCIL
EPISCOPAL DISTRICT 16A
OF THE PENTECOSTAL ASSEMBLIES OF THE WORLD
Southern California District Council:
Mission Statement:
To present Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to lost souls, making disciples of them. To plant new churches in both familiar and unchartered territories, and to compel and draw churches of likeminded faith into our fellowship. To teach, train, and develop pastors to grow their congregations and net worth, all while embracing the Apostles’ Doctrine that was once and for all delivered unto the saints.
Statement Of Purpose:
To reach souls and bring forth the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Vision Statement:
The vision and plan God has given us for the SCDC Council is much like what He gave to His disciples as recorded in Matthew 28:19. It is a vision with a mission of evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and worship. To increase is the theme of our mission.
In fulfilling this vision, the Council must REACH out to lost souls; CONNECT with other churches, cultures, and communities; challenge pastors to GROW their congregations; to EQUIP, EDUCATE, TRAIN, PREPARE, and EMPOWER their leaders to reach their net worth; TEACHING these leaders to DEVELOP ministries to meet the needs of the people; and lastly, to HONOR God with their lives.
This plan is being orchestrated to broaden our scope to narrow our search. ... the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest (Matthew 9:37-38, KJV). Providing motivation and tools for the churches of the SCDC council as we set goals that will take each church to the next level of Kingdom building through leadership conferences and pastoral training, with a detailed emphasis on leadership training and development for leaders.
Our Theme:
From Transition to Promise: Utilizing the Power of the Mantle ... Leaving No One Behind, this is OUR season! (I Kings 19:19).
